GCSE Astronomy —

Assignments & Homework

GCSE Astronomy >  [Coursework>  Assignments & Homework >  [Course Timetables]

Homework will take three main forms —

· Preparation for the forthcoming lesson — reading Powerpoint presentations and other general background research.  This really should be done as a matter of course every week.

· ‘Specific assignments’ — set about every two weeks.  These are a series of questions based on the material from previous sessions.

The assignments are to be found on the course CD.  In addition, others will be posted at regular intervals on this site.

Homework will be marked and handed-back at the next lesson.  Please hand it in as a paper copy, not on disk or any other electronic medium.

A selection of the homework questions will be covered in class — and a full set of answers will appear on this site soon after the homework is submitted.

NOTE:  The homework marks do not contribute in any way to the final grade.

· Special one-off pieces of work, set in class, and posted on this site.
