Student Calendar

Jupiter is visible low down in the Southern sky. It has a distinct yellow tinge and is brighter than any star. On the 9th of the month  the gibbous moon will be visible just below the planet and both will set around midnight. Midmonth transition takes place and its usual west to east motion resumes.
