Located behind the dome building. Area 3 x 2.2 m. The sky view takes in the south and west and is suitable for telescopes that do not need polar alignment, as the Pole Star is not visible. Excellent for general deep sky viewing and has adequate space for 2 Dobsonians and 4-5 people maximum

Located in front of the dome building. Area 6 x 5 m. The area provides a very good all round view of the sky and Polaris is visible, so polar alignment is possible. It is an ideal area for deep sky photography using GoTo EQ mounts and a range of telescopes. There is space for 3 telescopes and associated equipment and 8 people comfortably.
